I'm wondering if it's common to see an increase in UTIs while using K-fit? I've had recurrent UTIs since starting with this device about 6-weeks ago, despite taking proper hygience precautions and cord placement.
All vaginal penetration has the potential to transfer normal bacteria into the urethra. UTI’s aren’t caused by being dirty or dirty instruments, just the nature of touching or rubbing that area can mechanically transfer bacteria into the urethra. The most important way to protect yourself from UTI is to urinate after using your toner to clear bacteria from the urethra. Regular soap and water is all that’s needed to keep your probe clean.
