I don't know if I'm using the tool correctly. Essentially, I insert it to the deepest depth, but it feels as though it is pushing it's way back out, and by the time I'm finished, it seems as though the probe is more then half way out. It's definitely moving as my pulse tolerance changes in intensity depending on locations. Sometimes as high at 70 - 80 is tolerable, and sometimes 45 feels almost painful. Also, no matter where I use it, I only feel electrical pulses, but not much in the way of contractions. I generally use program 10, as it seems like the most intense of the presets. Advice?
Also, I'm using the tool to help with PE. Ideally to produce greater longevity in bed. Is there a set of recommended routines for that? I know that the Q&A mentioned cycling all programs, but if possible I'd like to do something intense and focused for more targeted and fast results.
The pre-set programs cannot be altered, other than the mA's, but you can create a custom program with the same settings and make any adjustments that you are looking for to the Hz or uS or program length there.
P01 is a gentle continuous program designed to activate the slow twitch muscle fibers, the ones for holding a contraction longer. P06, and P07 are stronger continuous programs.
If you notice that sensation is low, make sure to check whether you are on the soft waveform, the wavy line with a square top and checkmark bottom. If you are comfortable doing so, switch to the strong waveform, the one with a square top and square bottom.
Regarding the programs, is there a way to alter them aside from the MA's and making customs? I was using P01 initially, but I was able to go straight to 99 without issue, so I stopped using it. I assumed that was because the hz and us on it are low, or are you just not supposed to feel some programs?
The shape and tone of the rectum can affect how easily our body retains the probe. There a few ways to remedy this, the first being to simply hold the probe during exercise with your hand or using the inner thighs. Different positions can affect retention as well. Try standing and lying down to see if a different position helps.
As you stated, the deeper the probe remains, the more comfortable the work is. The ticking or electrical pulse you feel is definitely causing muscle contractions. It can be difficult to recognize because a true kegel does not net the external perineal muscles the way that a manual kegel does when we try to squeeze everything down there. To see your toner in action try pressing the probe between your hands with the electrode rings pressed to the pad of muscle below your thumbs. You will be able to see and feel the muscles contract. Your toner is working just as hard internally.
P10 is a good toning program. P03 is a stronger program, but you should follow your comfort level. As you read, each program has different benefits as they target different muscles. The continuous programs P01, P06 and P07 are great for toning the slow twitch muscles fibers. These are responsible for holding a muscle contracted longer which is great for longevity.
