I have a very tight pelvic floor and need to relax it. I want to start with 2 pads places on the ankle for tibial nerve stimulation. I was going to place one pad under the ankle bone and the other on the tibial nerve 2 inches above the other pad placement set back a bit from the other pad. Should I only use program number 11? Are there any other settings or programs I should use with external pad placements? Program 11 seems to be the only program that talks about pelvic floor relaxation. Thanks.

P11 is still a work/rest program and considered “active recovery”. Relaxation after work may be different than treating a chronic condition causing a tight pelvic floor. K-fit has 3 TENS programs; P01, P06, and P07, and 8 toning programs in it’s pre-sets, as well as being capable of an even broader range of settings when using the custom feature. Chronic pain and tension are usually treated with a TENS level setting that works continuously, without rest. This tends to disrupt and relax pain and tension better. Working closer to the site of the chronic issue, such as the sacrum for pelvic floor issues, may facilitate this disruption more quickly than TNS. I would suggest using P01 at the sacrum for a tight pelvic floor.
I would not recommend TNS for tight pelvic floor. You might have better luck with sacral placement using P01. You’ll want TENS settings for chronic pain; low Hz and low uS. Used for 20-60 minutes at a time.
