Hi. I'm male and have perineum pain when sitting, an overactive bladder, and a somewhat weak pelvic floor. I started to use the K-fit a few days ago and will cycle through the different programs but would like your opinion on what programs I should focus on. For Perineum pain I was thinking to use P01 more. I don't really see a setting for an overactive bladder. Most of the programs say, "urinary incontinence" which I don't have. I have a feeling that I need to pee all the time but not urinary incontinence (leakage).
I would appreciate any suggestions you have.
Thanks.
Pain and urgency are often treated using TENS settings to disrupt these signals. P01 is one of the best programs for that as well as P11. Increase the mA’s to a comfortable level, there is no suggested setting there. Weak pelvic floor is best addressed with work/rest programs. P08 is a very comprehensive program that will target 5 different layers of muscle over the course of the program. I would encourage you to speak to your doctor or physical therapist about the pain you are experiencing. It is very important to know where it is stemming from to prevent exacerbating the issue using the wrong treatment.
